My husband collapsed last week was taken to a&e. When we were discharged they advised we got a go appointment for repeat bloods and f/up. They did not know why he collapsed just that he have low blood pressure. I called the surgery to get him an appointment and was told he could have a routine one on the 17th. I was not happy with the service. He needs of had a 24 hour blood pressure test and bloods repeated. I do not feel this is a routine appointment thing
His blood pressure is still low and has a postural drop. The doctor also didn't appear to believe me when I said he had a gcs of 3. She was not there how on earth would she know. The paramedic also confirmed gsc3. This is not routine.
Dr Hoey is very very good.
Perfect care supplied by all GPs and practice nurses.
Routine health check offered and carried out.
Reception staff very pleasant and helpful.
A great practice. All staff really helpful. Not once in 5 years of being registered have I had a problem making an appointment to be seen by nurse or doctor.
Thank you for your positive words about The Manor Practice.
The last two times I have been to this surgery I have been miss diagnosed. I was told I had arthritis, I didnt. I was told I had a fungal infection on my toe, I didnt. The worst miss diagnoses was when I had bowel cancer and I went to see the doctor about my stomach pain and was told I was noticing my bowel move, how insulting is that.
The Manor Practice was sorry to hear that you had a negative experience, and wondered if you would be able to contact us to discuss further. I have left the surgery contact details and would be grateful if you could give the practice a call at your convenience.
